ZPower to Feature Product Enhancements and New Technology Roadmap at American Academy of Audiology (AAA) Conference

ZPower, the world’s only developer of rechargeable, silver-zinc microbatteries, will be highlighting the latest system improvements and discussing its new technology roadmap at AAA 2019, the world’s largest annual gathering of audiologists.

In 2017, ZPower helped bring rechargeability into the mainstream for hearing aids and two years later, nearly every major hearing aid manufacturer offers products with ZPower silver-zinc rechargeable batteries. With the latest improvements to its Rechargeable System for Hearing Aids, the company is taking things to the next level.

“We were proud to be part of the initial movement to rechargeability and we learned a lot in our first couple years. We’ve engaged extensively with our hearing care advisory group, our users, and our manufacturer partners, and leveraged their feedback to improve reliability, extend the battery lifespan and deliver a better overall user experience,” said Anson Martin, Chief Commercial Officer. “We look forward to sharing more about these enhancements—and our upcoming product launch plans—with the hearing care community.”

In addition to exhibiting, ZPower Vice President, Business Development Barry A. Freeman, Ph.D. will hold several sessions on the benefits and best practices of ZPower silver-zinc batteries, as well as lifestyle and performance considerations for rechargeable hearing aids.
